I’m Eric, a dedicated health and wellness coach passionate about helping individuals achieve their health goals. My journey in health and wellness began with my personal experiences, where I discovered the transformative power of lifestyle changes.

I am a health and wellness coach certified by the Mayo Clinic and working towards board certification with the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC).

My journey led me to realize how lifestyle can serve as the best preventative medicine.

  • Over a period of 30 minutes, you can expect personalized guidance tailored to your specific needs and goals.

    Each session is different depending on where we are at in your coaching experience. Earlier sessions focus more on understanding you, your goals, challenges, resources, and strengths. Later sessions focus on plan development, experimentation, reflection on what’s working or not, and enhancements or changes to plans.

    Typically, sessions are remote and held via video conference.

  • Sessions are typically scheduled for 30 minutes in a series or 6 sessions is ideal to support behavior change.

  • Many people struggle with lifestyle change on their own - if they didn’t, there wouldn’t be a need for coaching! From a coach, you’ll get:

    • Someone to listen to your needs in a positive environment

    • A thinking partner to work through challenges

    • Support to create and follow through on a plan

    • Accountability

  • Wellness coaching and therapy share similarities in their focus on improving well-being but differ significantly in their approach, scope, and purpose.

    Key Distinction:

    • If you’re looking for support to reach wellness or lifestyle goals, coaching is ideal.

    • If you need to address mental health challenges or heal from past experiences, therapy is the right choice.

    Many people benefit from engaging in both wellness coaching and therapy, as they complement each other well. As a coach, I will be transparent about what is in my scope of practice versus where a referral to outside resources may be needed.

  • Health information I provide is supported by large-scale studies and promoted by mainstream organizations like the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and HHS (Health and Human Services). That being said, I support my clients trying what they want based on what inspires them in the form of small-scale experiments.

  • Short answer, yes! You’ll likely need a referral from your medical provider to have your FSA/HSA company reimburse you.
